CALIFORNIA AMATEUR QUALIFYING & CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION

110th CALIFORNIA AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP
The Preserve GC, Carmel
June 21 – 26, 2021
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
156 players will play two rounds of stroke play.
Monday, June 21: Round 1 (18 holes, stroke play)
Tuesday, June 22: Round 2 (18 holes, stroke play).
Following the second round, the field will be cut to the low 32 players for match play.
Wednesday, June 23: Round of 32 (match play)
Thursday, June 24: Round of 16 (match play)
Friday, June 25: Quarterfinals & Semifinals (match play)
Saturday, June 26: Championship Match (36-hole match play final)
All non-exempt players will participate in an 18-hole, stroke-play qualifying round. Qualifying is available statewide for NCGA and SCGA Players.

Saturday, May 15: S at Rancho Mirage, Rancho Mirage
Monday, May 17: Arroyo Trabuco GC, Mission Viejo
Tuesday, May 18: Brookside GC (Course #1), Pasadena
Tuesday, May 18: Soule Park GC, Ojai
Tuesday, May 25: Goose Creek GC, Jurupa Valley
Thursday, June 3: La Purisima GC, Lompoc
NOTE: Players may only attempt to qualify once.
Golf Carts will not be permitted at the qualifiers or championship proper. The NCGA/SCGA will use United States Golf Association guidelines in determining cart exemptions for ADA-approved disabilities.
ELIGIBILITY: This championship is open to amateur golfers who are members of a current NCGA or SCGA member club with a Handicap Index of 4.4 or less at the time of registration.
EXEMPTIONS: All exempt players must still meet eligibility requirements and register online for the championship prior to the entry closing date. The current list of exemptions can be found online by clicking here.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, April 25, 2021
ENTRY FEE: $150
INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played, will be emailed and posted online after entries close.
LATE ENTRIES: Late entries will be accepted, assuming there is still space available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and can only be processed over the phone or through email.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $10 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
